Do you accept card payments?
Unlike a lot of mobile bars, we do accept card payments (Visa/Mastercard). This is dependent on there being a mobile signal or Wifi access at the event. Please ensure this is tested prior to the day if you want your guests to be able to pay by card.
What happens if we don’t meet the minimum spend?
To calculate the minimum spend, simply multiply the number of guests by the average amount you expect each guest to spend. In most cases, the minimum spend is easily achievable within the first few hours of an event. We will keep you updated throughout the event so that you know as soon as you have met the minimum spend. Should the minimum spend not be met by the end of your event, it is the responsibility of the customer to make up the difference.
I want a specific drink serving at my event, is this possible?
Of course! Once you’ve paid your booking fee we can work out the specific details of your event, including what you would like on the menu. We have a standard drinks menu which we make available for every event. But if you’re after something more niche we can adapt the menu to accommodate this. If we can source the drink in South Africa, you can have it at your party.
Which areas do you cover?
We will travel anywhere, as long as the venue/location has sufficient access and space for a horse box. Our fees include travel within a 50-kilometre radius of central Cape Town. Thereafter, mileage charged per kilometre. Some especially remote locations may require members of staff to seek accommodation for the night, at customer expense.
Can you provide welcome drinks and drinks for the toasts?
We would love to! We have a standard wedding drinks package but if you’re looking for something more bespoke, this can be worked out during your customer consultation. Once we have discussed your requirements we will be able to tailor a package to meet your needs and give you a quote based on the drinks selected.
